Silly
This is a Marigold Flower, we Indians use this on all our Auspicious occasions, we identify it with all our festivals. But do you know of the other important vital importance of this flower.
Ever wondered why the character “Dubeji” in the famous movie ‘Monsoon Weddings’ kept on munching on this bright flower. It might look cute in the film, but I must say this north Indian must have been a very very smart fella.
The flower contains a very powerful antioxidant known to fight age related eye diseases and improve well being. The “Phyto chemical’ in question is know as Lutein a form of Beta Carotene.
